Dijon

Continuing north to Paris my next stop was the charming city of Dijon, famous for its signature mustard and its Gothic architecture.

Lyon

Making my way toward Paris my next stop was charming Lyon. I spent a few days here, still suffering from “man flu”. Most of the sites in Lyon are clustered around the centre of town, the peninsular, on both sides of the river and the city is great for walking.

Aix En Provence

My next trick was a quick flight from Madrid to the beautiful city of Aix En Provence in the south of France. This stunningly beautiful town left a lasting impression on me. Unfortunately it also left me with a dose of the dreaded man flu which was to dog me for the next few weeks. Still Aix is well worth a visit, for the food alone, if not the scenery.

Vibrant Valencia

My third Spanish stop was in the beautiful city of Valencia. Beautiful architecture and wonderful food are the hallmarks of Spain’s third largest city!

Stunning Seville

Next stop in Spain was the beautiful city of Seville in Southern Spain. Famous for flamenco, food and fine architecture Seville is a treat for the senses and a delight for photography.

Madrid.

Unfortunately Barcelona was a bit of a wash for me in terms of photography as my time there was consumed taking care of business at home.

Second stop was the capital of Spain, Madrid. I hadn’t shot travel photography for a little while and it took a little time to get back into the groove. Things thankfully started to improve in Madrid.
